Our summer tour season is well under way and we are happy to once again welcome visitors from around the world. An overwhelming favorite part of the tour is holding puppies and we are lucky to have two litters born in June. Independent travelers can make reservations for the tours held at 2:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. See the VISIT link at the top of this page.
Our B&B is also available for overnight stays and B&B guests receive a 10% discount on tours.
Martin 57 year old male. Determined, seasoned, ready, experienced, excited, hard working. RTG!! Motivates dogs through positive energy and good vibes – love, care, affection and excellent nutrition! Stimulated to think about the new sojourn to Huslia. Not uhappy about reroute since it’s about 35 degrees and foggy at home. Race plan – be patient, stay happy and steady, not flashy, first in NOME. 32nd Iditarod start, 30th in a row and 29 consecutive finishes(the record), all 31 races completed.
Winter exists at Lake Louise, Alaska where the dog teams have relocated to do some final training runs before the race start on March 7. Thanks to Nancy Marty and Jim Davis for setting up a dog camp and taking care of Martin, Rohn and Alan when they are not on the trail.
